What FPV is actually for
FPV earns its place when the movement itself is the shot. A camera that travels through a property in one continuous line — past the entrance, over the pool, out across the water — connects spaces in a way that cutting between static aerials cannot. The viewer understands the geography because they have been flown through it.
It is not a replacement for conventional aerial work. Most projects want both: the FPV line to establish the property as one connected place, and the stable cinematic footage to hold on the parts worth looking at. Choosing FPV for everything produces a film that exhausts people by the second minute.

How an FPV shoot is planned
The reason FPV goes wrong is almost never the flying. It is that the move was not designed before the day, so the pilot improvises and the edit inherits four takes that each start somewhere different.
- Design the move. Where the shot starts, what it passes, where it ends — decided before anyone flies.
- Walk the line. On location, checking clearances, obstacles and the exit.
- Approvals. Aviation permission for that flight profile, plus the property owner’s.
- Rehearse. Repeatedly, at reduced speed, until the line is repeatable.
- Fly it. Several takes, in the light the move was designed for.
- Post. Stabilisation, grade, sound, and the vertical cut where it was framed for one.
What we do not claim
Plenty of FPV pages in this market advertise capabilities that quietly depend on approvals nobody has, or on aircraft the operator does not own. Two things worth stating plainly:
We do not currently advertise indoor or enclosed-space FPV work. And what any given FPV flight is permitted to do is decided by the location, the airspace and the property, not by our holding a permit in general — holding one registration does not authorise every flight. We assess that per shoot and tell you what is actually possible before quoting it.
Questions we get asked
What is an FPV drone, and how is it different?
FPV means first-person view: the pilot flies from the aircraft’s camera rather than watching it from the ground. That allows fast, continuous movement through a space — in through a doorway, down a stairwell, along a car — in one unbroken take.
A conventional camera drone is built to be stable and smooth. An FPV rig is built to be agile. They produce different footage and they are chosen for different shots, not ranked against each other.
Is FPV filming legal in Dubai?
Commercial FPV flying needs the same permitted-operator status and approvals as any other commercial drone work, and we hold DCAA and GCAA permits. What an individual FPV shoot requires depends on the location and the flight profile — an FPV run is a different proposition to a static hover, and the approval reflects that.
How long does an FPV shot take to get?
Longer than it looks. A ten-second one-take is a rehearsed move, and rehearsal is most of the day. We walk the line, fly it repeatedly, and choose between takes — which is why FPV is scheduled as a shoot rather than added to the end of one.
Can FPV footage be cut with conventional aerial and ground camera work?
Yes, and it usually is. FPV tends to be the shot that opens or closes a sequence rather than the whole film. Planning that in the edit beforehand is what stops it feeling like a stunt bolted onto an otherwise calm piece.
Can you deliver FPV footage vertically for Reels and TikTok?
Yes. It needs deciding before the flight, because the move has to be framed for the crop — a horizontal FPV line reframed to vertical afterwards loses most of what made it work.
What does FPV filming cost in Dubai?
It is quoted per project. The variables are the location, the approvals it needs, how many rehearsal hours the move takes and what the edit involves. A single rehearsed one-take can occupy a day on its own.
